Como todos los años, el conocido empresario minero Guillermo Re Kühl llevará a la exposición de la Prospectors and Developpers Association of Canada la promoción de la minería argentina. En diálogo con Mining Press, Re Kühl anticipó que “el pabellón de la industria minera argentina en la PDAC 2013 va a contar, como en los últimos 10 años, con la presencia de mineras, proveedoras de servicios, miembros de la comunidad minera y abogados en la búsqueda de oportunidades”,

Re Kühl, presidente de Alto Americas, tiene un buen balance de la convocatoria: “Unas 30 empresas son las que siempre nos acompañan en diversas categorías de sponsors. La idea es mantener las reuniones desde el inicio con desayunos de trabajo desde el domingo hasta reuniones organizadas y presentaciones especiales terminando con el habitual espectáculo de “Tango y Salsa”.

El Argentine Pavillion es el espacio privado que organiza Re Kühl y que tiene como vecino al pabellón argentino que monta, por su parte, la Secretaría de Minería de la Nación.

“El congreso cierra formalmente el miércoles al mediodía y la gran mayoría de los negocios se cierran entre el domingo y el martes. El evento tiene la particularidad de existir a pesar de los años conflictivos y este es un año de commodities de precios bajos, los fondos están dudando en qué invertir y las empresas han reducido por diversos motivos, los presupuestos de exploración. A pesar de todo esto que preocupa a los gerentes, la feria de Toronto es la cita indicada para los que están bien, los que están más o menos y hasta los que van a buscar trabajo. Por eso, el número de inscriptos va a superar los 30.000, por encima de los números del año pasado”, destacó Re Kühl .

“La PDAC es la reunión minera por excelencia y pese a que las circunstancias no son las optimas, iremos de nuevo a mostrar nuestro potencial. La Argentina está perdiendo algunas posiciones competitivas frente a países como Colombia o Perú, dentro de un contexto de Latinoamérica por motivos macro y macroeconómicos. Los temas que más le preocupan a los inversores con respecto a la Argentina son bien conocidos, como la disponibilidad de utilidades, que es algo que se tendrá que solucionar”, remarcó el organizador del Argentine Pavillion”

¿Cuál es el consejo para quienes asisten desde Argentina a la PDAC 2013. “Mi primer consejo es armar un buen proyecto, una buena propuesta, porque siempre hay inversores atentos a venir a la Argentina, aún en un contexto internacional complicado como éste”, dijo Re Kühl .
